Molakar Village and new Toilet Block

On 22nd November 2009, we went out to Molakar Village to attend church with the villagers and also participate in the grand opening of their first toilet block. Molakar village is on the border of Myanmar and the people don’t have any rights and have just squatted their now for many years. They previously have had no bathroom facilities, (just found a good tree or hole!) so this new toilet block will be a great blessing to the church and community. Praise God that we were able to use finances raised from Australia to help fund this project, which was overseen by Jan and Jit.

The toilet block looks great! Better than some toilet blocks in Sydney. I hope you had a ribbon to cut for the unveiling! The new church looks impressive. You have all done well.It must be an exciting time for the people in the village. x x x

It’s so exciting to see the toilet block ready to go!! What a difference that’ll make to Aewa and Po-Aewa in particular. Just the ramp to go for the church, now…

Prayer Points

Thursday 31st December. Praise Points: - For a wonderful 2009, it was a blessing and privilege for us to serve in the jungles of Thailand. - We could celebrate Christmas with our new "family" and friends, focusing on the true meaning of Christmas. - The loving farewells and opportunities to express gratitude to all we worked with this year. Prayer Points: - For the various ministries we were involved with: teaching English, devotions, evangelistic outreach groups, school, Candlelight, Hostel, and Aerobics - that these will continue to be run by locals. - For a safe return home, and settling back into life and ministries in Sydney. - That we can get internet access to the hostel, so we can stay in contact next year. - For a place to rent in Sydney. - For Michael's persistent cough to go away. Thanks for your prayers. Remember Philippians 4:6-7.
